This Saturday, we rendezvoused with our friends for a delightful lunch and a beachside coffees. I had spent the entire week toiling away, moving earth and rocks at my father’s ‘lozi,’ while my wife was away in Sofia for work. This was a nice little treat and a great way to start the weekend.
Our first destination was Chataldja, where we indulged in a delicious meal at Tigan (the pan). Following our satisfying lunch, we embarked on a stroll through the sea garden until we reached La Cucaracha Beach Bar. This serene beach bar sits just beyond the first pier.
We placed orders for sparkling water, coffee, and frappes, then settled into our seats to bask in the sun and soak in the harmonious tunes.
The venue offered an abundance of seating options, including swings and bean bag chairs. The music played in the background was perfectly attuned to the ambiance, and unlike some of the more crowded spots around Varna, the beach here was pleasantly tranquil.
